A relatively late starter in the racing world, Marc made a handful of apperances with Club100 in sprint and endurance events between 2004 and 2005 before embarking on a full season of the Heavyweight Sprint Championship in 2006.
With the creation of the Premier championship in 2007, Marc Laukam became the man to beat in the Heavyweight series scoring 3 wins, 1 second and 2 third place finishes on his way to the championship. His performance attracted the attention of veteran Dave Pethers who drafted him into his LF Racing team for an assault on the 2008 Clubman Endurance championship.
Another 3 wins, 2 seconds and 1 third netted the team second in the championship behind Ministry of Speed. Despite this success, Pethers opted to join forces with Slipstream Racing for the following season, leaving Laukam without a drive. He was soon snapped up by Target Racing for what promises to be a successful campaign in the Premier series.
Along with his Endurance racing, Marc has continued to compete with success in the Premier sprint series and has proved himself to be a very rapid competitor and is well respected by his peers.
